Original Artwork by Otto Freese Today is Pfingstsonntag (Whit Sunday) and tomorrow is Pfingstmontag (Whit Monday). These two days are considered a public holiday here in Germany. Every 7th Sunday after Easter, the Germans, as in other Catholic countries, celebrate Pfingsten (Pentecost)
